Eureka!
I found a Starbucks on my way to City Hall. Thank god. Now, I'll be able to sleep, which I guess is sort of a contradiction. In any case, at this point, I'm so tired, that when I fall asleep, I skip all of the stages of sleep and slip straight into REM. The dreams are intense. This can't be healthy.

finding something familiar from home is always exciting when you're travelling...but finding STARBUCKS is the absolute best thing EVER to find when you're travelling! the best part is that the coffee even tastes the SAME no matter where you are in the world (unlike, say, McDonald's, which is gross in some places...trust me...)
Glad you're going to survive. I was worried. No Starbucks for Shelley is like 'no oxygen' for the rest of us.
Hey Angela,
Yeah, it's true...Starbucks is sooo reasurring because it's always the same...even in Japan, where I was last year
Mel,
No oxygen is RIGHT...but I think that you may be cultivating the same addiction. Heh Heh.
You're right, I am. But I am keeping it in check. I object to spending $4 on a coffee every day. Once a week. That's my limit.
