Fishing

The sun is shining, the skies are blue and it's getting warmer every day. Despite this, the homeless man has not appeared outside my office yet. We should've seen him by now.

He didn't look so good the last time I saw him. I think he passed away.

I hope he's in a better place...fishing to his heart's content.

Wow...

I just went back and read your previous posts about this man and I admit here that a few tears fell from my eyes. What a sad state of affairs in this great country that there are people abandoned by society and left to live out their time like this.

You're one of the good ones, I can tell this without ever laying eyes on you.

Here's to fishing.

Oh, how sad! Your homeless died. I clicked on your links, and it was just so sad, to read about a poor man dying like that. To just leave this world and be forgotten like that...as if he never existed.

What David wrote is what I'm the most afraid of with my own life. Not being poor or successful or anything else, I'm the most terrified of it being my end and no one remembering or caring or shedding a tear.

I think this was a bit of a wake up call for me, wake up call in a blog. It's time to start making an effort to be a little kinder.
